For managed computers at ETH Zurich, special VPN settings may apply. Please contact your IT support group if you have any questions. In order to continue to receive all updates and security patches, it is recommended to connect to the ETH network via VPN at least every 2-3 days for about two hours. Each group has an account on our server chemcrys.ethz.ch (129.132.235.35). Using your group's username and password, you will find here instructions on how to connect to the server and to transfer your files. An easy way is to establish a sftp-connection and login with your group's account and password to transfer the files.
